Clear the Lawn

To prepare the land for our premium artificial turf, clear 2-3 inches of soil. We rented equipment from The Home Depot to make this process move along more quickly and with less (wo)man power.

Prepare Your Foundation

Compress the soil. This compactor was also from The Home Depot Rental Center. The machine is heavy and a little tricky to maneuver but it worked 10 times faster than we could have.

After flattening the land, use base material to properly grade the perimeter. While this turd is designed for quick draining and easy cleaning, you do not want rain water pooling.

Ordering the Right Turf

You can order custom cut sizes of this pet friendly artificial turf and pick it up in store. The employees packaged it for us and advised that we roll it out and let it sit for a few hours to give it time to flatten before install.

Secure Your Turf

With the proper adhesive and landscaping stakes you can secure your turf and seams to ensure its properly laying flat for a long time with no trip hazards.
